REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO THE SPANISH TERRITORY FOR A STAY THAT DOES NOT EXCEED 3 MONTHS WITHIN A PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS

(Article 5 Code of Schengen Borders; Article 25 Immigration Law and Articles 4 and above of Immigration Regulations)

 Spain, as a member of the EU and of the Schengen Agreement, has the obligation of executing the EU and national regulations referenced above regarding the control of borders in the Schengen Area. Border control authorities may request the following upon your arrival, which represent the MINIMUM requirements for entry. Compliance with these requirements in no way grants an automatic right of entry.

In accordance with Order PRE/1282/2007, foreigners attempting to make their entry into Spain must provide proof of means of support: 57.06 €/day/person and in all cases, a minimum of 513.54 €/person.
