The Consulate General in Miami has jurisdiction over the following States: Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. If your permanent residence is in one of these States you must apply at this Consulate. If your permanent residence is in another State contact the Consulate that has jurisdiction over your State.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED WHEN REQUESTING THIS TYPE OF VISA

This visa allows a person to work as an employee in a company located in Spain.

To apply for this type of visa, two Schengen visa application forms and the following requirements must be submitted in person:

ORIGINALS AND TWO PHOTOCOPIES OF EACH DOCUMENT:

• Two Schegen visa application forms type-written and signed.
• Residence card, if  not a US citizen, and Driver License or State ID with actual permanent address. 
• Passport with validity superior of one year and photocopies of the photo and personal information page.
• Two recent pictures, passport size glued to the application forms.
• Original certificate of good conduct (police clearance) issued by the police department of the city or cities in which the applicant has spent 6 months or more during the past 5 years, notarized, translated into Spanish and legalized with the Apostille Certification issued by the Department of State.
• Original medical certificate of good health and absence of contagious diseases, drug addiction and mental illness, issued by a doctor and duly stamped. The employee (not the accompanying family members) must have the Doctor verify that there is no evidence of any health condition which would prevent the employee from engaging in the proposed labor activity in Spain. This medical certificate must be typed and signed by a Medical Doctor.
• Authorization of residence and work permit issued by the Spanish Ministry of Labor with the N.E.V. NUMBER assigned.

All documents must be submitted at this Consulate within 30 days from the date of the Resolution issued in Spain.

• Proof of sufficient financial  support (bank accounts in Spain or USA, investments and any other source of income).

• Certificate of good conduct (Police Clearance Letter) for applicants older than 18, translated into Spanish, notarized and legalized with the Apostille Certification issued by the corresponding Department of State.
• Medical certificate of good mental and physical health, duly stamped and signed by medical doctor, translated into Spanish.
• Marrige certificate  legalized with the Apostille certification at corresponding Department of State.
• Birth certificate legalized with the Apostille certification at corresponding Department of State.
• Proof of employment of spouse/parent in Spain and copy of his/her passport.
• Final judgment of dissolution of marriage and the custody agreement concerning the children of divorced parents translated into Spanish and legalized with the Apostille Certification issued by the corresponding Department of State.
